Hall’s fifteen sumptuous bedroom suites, stunning dining room and functions suites, private library and bar all have the highest standards of interior design, using handmade carpets and beautiful fabrics and are filled with antiques and curios.
Soughton Hall is an Approved Premises for civil wedding ceremonies in Flintshire and you can be married here irrespective of your home address.
As soon as you’ve worked out a suitable date for your marriage, you should speak to our local Register Office which is based in Mold, on 01352 703333, to confirm they are available and agree a ceremony time.
You should then contact your local Register
Office (i.e. the one covering the area where
you live) and arrange for you and your partner
to give Notice of Marriage. You must reside
in a district for at least 7 days before giving
Notice and you must apply in person.
Soughton Hall now offers an exciting venue option for your wedding, private function or corporate event – our own stunning marquee located within our private gardens.
Owned by Soughton Hall, and with new fixtures and fittings throughout, you can now combine the best of both worlds – our marquee provides a “blank canvas” which you can personalise for your event with any theme or colour scheme while having the benefit of holding your event at a beautiful
venue where we can put our expertise at your disposal to help with your planning.
Guests can enjoy drinks and canapés on arrival in our gardens as usual, before making their way to dine in the marquee.
After dinner you can watch your choice of entertainment take to the stage under the starlit ceiling and perhaps hitting the
black and white chequered dance floor with its professional lighting system yourself.
There is a well stocked private bar and an open walled but undercover, decked lounge area with sofas so that guests have
somewhere to retire to after the meal for quieter conversation or perhaps a liqueur or two!!
The marquee also has a brand new heating system, to ensure your guests are comfortable at all times.
