More Info
Portmeirion is a private village set on its own peninsula on the coast of Snowdonia.
It has about 70 acres of sub-tropical woodlands with lakes,
follies and miles of paths.
Along its shore are miles of tidal beaches.
The village was built by architect Clough Williams-Ellis from 1926 to 1972 as an ‘unashamedly romantic’ sea-side resort.
All the buildings form part of the Hotel, including Castell Deudraeth on the main driveway overlooking the estuary.
Portmeirion is a place apart, a timeless haven of tranquillity, the perfect place for your perfect day.
